David has a diverse experienced background as a business development executive that has demonstrated management and leadership proficiency in international complex, competitive and technology changing environments. He has particular expertise as an operational consultant, who focuses on the strategic leadership, operational planning, corporate development, alliance relationships and management change aspects of organizations. David a variety of senior management positions. He served as the Chief Operations Office for Zyda Inc., a web based start up software company that integrated and facilitated project management and e-procurement applications for the international business development market place of the World Bank and United Nations. David administrated all aspects of the start up company including cost control, resource planning, product development and marketing activities, and presenting to various VC groups. He developed and implemented business plan initiatives that lead to negotiating with software engineering firms an equity partnership. Prior to joining Zyda Inc., Mr. Franklin had over twenty years of proven leadership in the technology services energy sector. His impressive list of leadership and career progression include, Global Business Development Manager in Houston Texas, six years assignment as General Manager of a successful American-Chinese joint venture in South China, and three years as County Operations Manager with a start up joint venture in Jakarta Indonesia. By maintaining high profit margin, implementing operational cost reductions, and securing long-term service contracts, David took pride in accomplishing the resolve and turn around of a American-Chinese joint venture's ten year debt of $4 million. His turn around to profitability of the joint venture promoted him to Houston Texas as Global Business Development Manager, where he was responsible for marketing, engineer sales training, and securing Large Account Management Programs in excess of $8 million related sales. David has served as a consultant in the areas of building strategic alliance partnerships with diverse cultures, global expansion business planning, e-commerce business planning, and teaching Solution Selling under a Large Account Management Program. For the past two years, David has resided on the board of directors of the Technology Marketing Association of Georgia. David grew up as an Army military dependent. After attending several international schools at a young age, David settled in Columbus Georgia where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Geology from Columbus State University.
